Class Trials (学級裁判 Gakkyū saiban) are the final act of each chapter of the main Danganronpa games. And she knew nothing about the Trial system, because that was explained just after her death. For fans of the murder-mystery visual novel series Danganronpa. 1: 1-2: It's emotional. The one time Kirigiri doesn't support Naegi, aka the only trial in DR1 where I was confused like an idiot lol. First, we have a murder scheme where Mikan did some impossible stuff with the speed of light because after meeting Hajime and record the video for make it look like Ibuki was going to kill herself, she needed to wait him leave the tity typhoon once he witnessed Ibuki's hanging body, go there, uncover Hiyoko's body, lock the door, come back to meet Fuyuhiko, then come back to meet Hajime and Chiaki. So why … I don't like the huge amount of time on the location of the buildings, but I felt it was a good sendoff for Gundham's character. My favorite case and chapter in all of Danganronpa. The only good part about it is her English voice actress losing her accent as she got closer to losing the trial, which is a good touch. I'll do top three favorite, top three least favorite, and four that I think are better/worse than you said, because I feel like it. Nice list. This channel was dedicated to a re-imagination of the April Fool's Danganronpa, DanganRebirth. The game was originally released in Japan for the PlayStation Portable in November 2010 and was later ported to Android and iOS in August 2012. Easily best trial in the franchise. The protag switch to Komaeda was super fun too. Trial 2 (6.5/10): This is better than the first trial, not only for the emotional factor or because of the whole reason behind but because the murdering scheme and some new secrets discovered. Danganronpa V3 Ships. It's a good murder scheme and we get plenty of discoveries aswell. It's basically Komaeda trolling everyone from beyond the grave with his bullshit luck killing who he was looking for. Danganronpa Complete 100% 'A' Class Trials (Spoiler free) By imaginee Originally a part of another one of my guides, this guide is a condensed version of 'Danganronpa 100% Complete Walkthrough!' Jul 11, 2016 @ 4:30am Danganronpa 1. I don't really get why Kokichi wanted Miu dead instead of just not killing him. Trial 4 (7/10): Probably the best case of DR1, even if it wasn't a great case. Let's not forgot, he becomes way too greedy and that was the reason of why his plans failed, because when he killed Angie, he had commited the perfect crime since nothing exactly pointed at him as the culprit but nooo...He had to go for Tenko and tight the rope around his neck more. I don't really get why Miu wanted to get out, since she was giving Kokichi inventions to get out without murder. Case 6- 8/10. Trial 4 (7/10): This chapter had a cool concept but I feel like most of the explanations of how and why, felt way too meta. Of course the ending is sad but the trial could have a far better writting instead of just shoving stuff onto us. The trial is also the worst. The debate takes place in a courtroom setting, and consists of several debate phases and minigames. I wish my favorite character didn't have to die for that though. Case 5 was the best imo mainly because training trio/Ouma are my favourites, although the ending broke my heart it was super heated all the way through and the end of it broke my heart. Oh well. Trial 3 (6.5/10): For me, this is the best chapter 3 case of all the games but in the same time, the most disappointing case for me, not necessarily bad. It constantly blew me away. It's so time-consuming to figure out that Miu was trying to kill Kokichi, even though that's even more obvious. Pretty much the only thing I like here is the Sayaka betrayal which Makoto doesn't really get angry about. Another thing I love are list videos. I only included the cases where murders occurred that get solved in said cases. And the trial was good. Case 4- 8.5/10. The logic behind some of the clues was a pain to figure out. Danganronpa Forge:Re is a game borne out of a love for-well-Danganronpa! 1. But, I hate how long they took to figure out the simple stuff. The red herring of Tenko commiting suicide, Angie's killer being a separate person etc was well done too. Yeah, it was unfair, but the mystery of Mukuro's murder was still one of my favorite trials to watch unfold. Trial 1 is a good case. I give it the point only because it made me feel bad for Ryoma when I didn't care about him at all earlier. Trial 2: 6/10. 2-4: 5/10, the Tower shit was just a mess but the Nagito mini-arc is really fun. It really sets in the sense of distrust (hah) that you get from the game. The killer was really clever, and a lot of people were interesting red herrings. 3-4: 7/10, felt like it lagged really hard, it took so long to get to the looping world twist. Didn't like the whole video thing. Trial 1 is far more better than any trials of DR1, not only because of the murder scheme that is good, but also because of the reasons and objectives behind the why. At least we got to see prickgami making plenty of flaws in the trial, which was nice. Takes place in one confined location, no overnight planning. Class Trials (学級裁判 Gakkyū Saiban) are the final act of each chapter in Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony. The writing basically forces you to believe Kaito is dead, which is already enough reason to suspect that he is alive. Case 3- 7/10. I liked the whole murder scheme. This game did a good job introducing new case ideas. I also like the trials in the other two games more than the first. Trial 1 (9.5/10): Literally, we already face a trial that basically fill you with feels and have one of the biggest twists in the entire DR series: Kaede Akamatsu, the main protagonist, is the killer. Then, all you needed to do is connect everything to point why Mondo is the culprit, since he was already suspicious enough. Mikan's plan was dumb? First, because trial 5 was unfair since the mastermind participated and used something that Monokuma did to create a murder scheme and re-use a body and trial 6 is the fight against the mastermind, not exactly a case. Trial 5 (6.5/10): Now a lot of people will hate me for this but...I don't find v3 chapter 5 case that great as I have heard. Didn't like how long it took. Trial 4: 7/10. Average: 7.5/10, honestly feels a tad low. 3-2: 1/10, this murder is still one of the two dumbest crimes in the series. Case 2- 7/10. I think the main issue I have with this trial, is because the final twist: where they discover that Sakura commited suicide. Absolutely perfect. This case is just OK. It's just sad really. Z1gZak. Though, this case has a similar problem like trial 1. It was pretty good. It might still be the best standard case in DR1, but it's still dumb. I just don't like Korekiyo killing Angie. First, if it wasn't already bad that the game constantly forced Celestia on your face, making her even more suspicious during the whole justice robot incident, she basically made a slip of tongue that pointed her as a potential suspicious, EVEN BEFORE THE INVESTIGATION. The execution was the most brutal one so far, and Monodam fucking died. Trial 3 (3/10): Sighs This trial...I have so many problems with it. Maki Harukawa- I thought Maki was going to rank higher, but here she is. The first half was repetitive but the second half made up for it in spades. Great Case. Danganronpa 1, 2, and V3 Tier List. While the idea of a program world is ok, I think the fact is a program which can be done many stuff, make it half assed to create murder schemes. There are literally only two people who could be either the victim or the culprit, Kaito or Kokichi. 3: 1-5/6: While it wasn't counted in the OP, I'm going to. I'm not saying the culprit was obvious, but even with all the other outside interference, it's literally just a 50/50 chance. My main issue with this case is because it was quite predictable and the rule of first victim is what will matter haven't be used properly. Trial 2: 8/10. Okay, I didn't like this one. Following Hajime was probably easy, I doubt he was really paying attention. Worse: 1-4: Monobear needs to stop being a dick, because if he wasn't a dick, this trial would have been a lot easier. Danganronpa was localized and published in English regions by NIS America in February 2014, and for … I'm comment about my favorite and least favorite cases for each game too. It's simple. So, my problem with this trial, is that it destroyed the surprise of the culprit in the most disappointing way, through a slip of tongue. Since Kiyo did the seance, it was already kinda suspicious since he was the one who that had the idea yet made a trap to make people look like Himiko was the culprit. She could probably get there before he left, and enter after he left in about 30 seconds. Trials 5/6: 5/10. Trial 3: 4/10. Originally it was conceived purely as a sort of tribute to Danganronpa, having a story set in a Danganronpa-esque universe while emulating Danganronpa's signature style and gameplay. 3: 1-3: Yeah fuck this case. The murder plan, the evidence, the closing argument, the despair, the execution(best music), and the motive reveal. Kiyo's breakdown was so creepy and WTFy that I didn't really mind that he killed Tenko for a dumb reason and that he was an incestuous creep. Also, another thing to add is because there isn't a single that point as the killer beforehand and the twists about some characters being the killer when they actually aren't, it's also good. Just flew off the rails after that. This trial wrecked my emotions about as much as Shuichi's. because of the tension. Trial 6: 5/10. Better: 2-3: I don't think it was that unreasonable for Mikan to do everything in that short a time period. Let's not forgot that Sayaka was really dumb to fight someone much more stronger and athletic than her, instead of just inviting Chihiro, since he was the easiest target. But, overall. Let's not forgot the same trope has been re-used again. Makoto should have found out what Kyoko did in Chihiro's gender, but he's too much of a little bitch, so everyone had to discover it later. I like characters there more. And overall the first game was more memorable for me. At first, we think that Komaeda really did killed Twogami because of the reveal but it would be way too obvious right? Could have been better. So the simple fact that his choice worked out made sense. 2-6: 10/10, UD reveal is the best twist in the series, great dilemma with the shutdown, nice callbacks to older characters. I genuinely can't remember, it just doesn't make sense. It confused me at first, but now I really like Kaito for somehow pulling the wool over Monokuma's eyes, which I never thought was possible outside of endgame shit. I like Celeste's motive, I think it's funny, and she's a nice change to the regretful deaths of the first two killers, but other than that it can fuck right off. While I find the motive rather unfair because it was meant to be only for Fuyuhiko, it has been handled well because we have not only a good trial, full of twists like the sparkling justice and all, but one of the most emotional trial endings of the entire series and then, the development of a character that decided to change and improve theirselves after the sacrifice of their closest friend. Wasn't a huge fan of Chihiro and hated the whole Byakuya fucking up the crime scene thing, just made it really annoying. As I mentioned before, nothing pointed out Peko as the killer at first and there was no need or anything like dying messages or stuff like that for make it obvious. The slight foreshadowing of what happened (Hifumi remembering Celeste's real name) and the pacing of the trial was entertaining at least. Danganronpa: 5 Reasons V3 Ruined The Series (& 5 For Why It Made The Series Better) Danganronpa V3 is the series' most polarizing title. It's honestly my favorite of the first game because several things happen: the debut of Genocide Jack, Chihiro's gender reveal, Ishimaru fighting Makoto in Mondo's stead, all good stuff. I'll list the cases where there is a murder that gets solved. Best trial in the series, great setup, great twists, great finale. The feels, man. Trial 2: 7/10. So, a mislead for make us think he is the culprit. The whole built about how everything happened and who the killer is, while discussing and denying that Kaede was the killer...The discussion of morality and betrayal, make this case one of the most beautiful trials of the series. A pro of the DR2 cases is that nothing point out as the culprit at first unless they keep discussing, with no need of slip of tongues, dying messages or something like that. Another great case. Trial 4 (9/10): This trial at least is meant to help us forgot the disappointment and disgrace that trial 3 was. Trial 3: 6/10. Danganronpa tier list. It's fun to go through initially, when you're finding dead bodies everywhere, but it's so easy. Average: 5.8/10, this game is really volatile, really good cases offset by some very mediocre one. There's no way that this wasn't going to be the best trial. It only drops below 10 outta 10 because of Chiaki and Nagito. At the end of the first killing game, the students have a final trial where they are told to identify the true killer.… Press J to jump to the feed. 2-5: 10/10, this shit was just fantastic. featuring only the class trials in order to make it more simple and easy to understand. It is a virtual reality demo of ''Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc'', where players take part in a class trial similar to those of the original games. But It was really well done. Trial 1: 5/10. There are two known volumes, which were written by the creator of the series, Kazutaka Kodaka. D2 Case 1- 9/10. That bad ending was also 10/10, Trial 6: 8/10 Great mastermind..at least in dr1. Trial 5: 4/10 Only good thing about this trial is the execution imo. Oh, if only it was a legit trial. Danganronpa V3 Killing Harmony. but the reveal that Sayaka was trying to kill Makoto all along. I legitimately cannot say anything bad about it; while some may take it as a pitfall, I don't mean it with that connotation. I like the theme of trust where Naegi had to trust Kirigiri- blind trust in his friends is one of Naegi's distinctive characteristics. It's more about taste. I think after chapter 1 case, the mysteries and murder schemes become way too predictable and this happens a lot in this case. 10 votes, 25 comments. Many people said that it was quite predictable since Kirumi was really active during the whole day, principally in the gym, making her quite suspicious. She was a normal sweet girl who reminded me so much of the first Danganronpa’s protagonist, Makoto Naegi the “Ultimate Hope”-only more confident and more willing to take on the leadership role. Platform: PS4. It actually managed to make me give a shit about Teruteru at the end. Ibuki Mioda Sprites. Tbh I just thought it’d look better with him than Chiaki, since it’s more recognisable as to what case I’m talking about. Celeste's execution was also perfect. Kirigiri must have know already. Now, you might ask, why also bad point? It was still good nonetheless. After all, we had Kirigiri with the answers every damn time, making the discussion worthless because why do it? Once you realize that Hagakure didn't do it, and realize that Hifumi cleaned his glasses off, it's blindingly obvious that Celeste did it. It's so time-consuming to figure out how the Virtual World works, even though it's fairly obvious. Even without a clear solution, the game still gives you a lot to think about and a lot of interesting factors in the trial. One of my favorites of the series easily. This one is a classic to me. 3-3: 4/10, the seance murder was pretty clever but another perfect-murder-giveaway with a dumb incest twist. That's pretty much all I have to say about that. The super long trials don't work when it feels like there's even less material than the DGR2 cases. 7/10, felt like it just shit all over the characters, just Shirogane 's incest kink: trial.
